A graduate of the BA (Communication) degree from the Sydney University of Technology, Sylvia is an accomplished writer with a passion for consumer lifestyle and retail. Sylvia thrives in the writing world of travel, food/dining, fashion and homewares as well as all supermarket/FMCG products.
With so much empathy for these segments and first hand experience as the mother of a teenage girl and boy, shopping and writing go hand in hand and she invariably becomes a consumer advocate for the brands she writes and promotes!
Having worked for over 20 years in the PR industry in Sydney, Singapore and London and as an avid reader of traditional and digital media, Sylvia knows how to write effective consumer press communications as she understands what the media wants. She has also written feature articles and styled pages for Family magazine in Singapore.
Sylvia is an efficient and effective proofreader and an accomplished writer of brochures, newsletters, annual reports, speeches and press releases, as well as a most enthusiastic event coordinator.
